JESSE & FESTUS vs. CURT HAWKINS & ZACH RYDER
Festus cleaned house to start, then tagged Jesse and slammed him on Hawkins. Hawkins & Ryder took it to Jesse, making sure he couldn’t tag Festus. Festus finally tagged in and took out both men. He splashed Hawkins in the corner, then nailed the sit-down splash, but Ryder broke it up. Hawkins clipped the throat of Festus and he tagged Jesse. Jesse missed a cross-body and Hawkins took advantage with a forward neck-breaker for the win.

Curt Hawkins interrupted the World Heavyweight Championship match between Edge and the Undertaker and hit Taker over the head with the belt while the referee was distracted.

In the ring, it’s the Edge-Guerrero clan. Edge seemed quite happy that Batista and Edge would be going at it again tonight. Vickie took the mic and said she was excited to announce that the Undertaker vs. Batista match would be no-DQ. Edge said no matter who wins tonight, there will be a new World Champion at Backlash. He then plugged Chavo vs. Kane as well. He said it would be a great night for his familia....when CM Punk’s music interrupted. Edged taunted Punk about losing to William Regal in the King of the Ring tournament on Monday. Punk said the Money in the Bank contract is a lot better way to the top than sleeping with the boss, like SOMEONE he knows. Punk said the love Edge and Vickie have for each other is “gross.” Punk said he was out to make a public service announcement about the fact that he can cash his briefcase in anytime he wants. He said he, Undertaker and Batista can all beat Edge. Edge wanted a match with Punk tonight, so Vickie granted it. Edge said after tonight, Punk will be “bankrupt.”

Time for the Cutting Edge. Edge and Ryder & Hawkins are out. Edge's guest is the man he beat last night on RAW: The ECW Champion Kane. Edge says word on the street that the most powerful family in the WWE is the Brothers of Destruction. Edge discusses Kane's history: his mental scars, his on-again off-again relationship with Taker, two romantic endeavors, one of which he won't mention with the other being Lita, and Kane injuring Edge last summer. Edge says it was a blessing in disguise because during that time out, he met the most beautiful woman in the world: Vickie Guerrero. Ryder & Hawkins are like his sons and Chavo is like his nephew. Edge this Sunday, his family takes back what is rightfully theirs: the ECW and World Heavyweight Titles. Kane says he will destroy Chavo, Taker will destroy Edge, and Bam Neely, and three more bodies will be added to this family tragedy. But he tells Edge not to worry, because he and Taker will take really good care of Vickie. He then laughs maniacally. Chavo and Bam hit the ring, and it's a five-on-one situation. The Edge Heads, Bam, and Edge hold Kane down as Chavo winds up with a steel chair and connects his Kane's knee several times. The heels leave Kane lying in the ring as the show goes off the air.

With Democratic Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama locked in a heated battle for their party's Presidential nomination, Raw has extended an invitation for them to instead settle their differences in the squared circle. Below, a host of WWE Superstars share their thoughts on the impending political confrontation.

"Well, personally, I think without a doubt they should both take [a match] into serious consideration because the WWE fan base is unlike any other, so it will give each of them an opportunity to reach out to a whole other demographic. I mean I’m sure both of them tuned into WrestleMania, you know what I mean? The numbers don’t lie."
